01Will my crown or filling become whiter?
Whitening does not change restoration materials like natural tooth enamel. Shade planning may be needed if you have visible restorations.
02Can whitening cause sensitivity?
Temporary sensitivity or gum irritation can occur. Tell your dentist so the approach can be adjusted.
03Will the result last forever?
No. Foods, drinks, tobacco and aging can affect color again. Maintenance depends on your habits and the treatment used.
